Blush Placement 101 🌸: * There are many ways of applying your blush. Here are two of the most popular placements my clients LOVE. * Rounder & Shorter: this placement is the best for someone who has a more oval or oblong face shape so that it can appear a bit shorter and give you that cutesy rounder cheek look. you want to make sure your blush is being focused on the apple of the cheeks and blended outwards towards the top of your ear. * Lifted & Longer: this placement is one of my favourites. as someone who has a rounder and shorter face, I like my blush to give me the illusion of a lifted and longer structure. this is also very flattering & slimming. we want to focus the product towards the high points of our cheek bones and blend up towards the temple. Concealer Application & Setting 101 💅🏼: * placement is the first and crucial step. we want to lift our features up and this can be done with simple placement of your concealer. as you can see I centre the product to the inner corners of my under eye then flare it out towards my temple. this will give us the lifted illusion. * blending is YOUR friend. for better coverage using a brush to blend out your concealer is going to be best. you want to dab it into your skin and not rub it. rubbing can drag your under eye (aka stretching your skin). a beauty blender can be used but make sure it is DAMP. beauty blender is great and user friendly for creating smooth edges. * setting with powder and a POWDER PUFF right after blending one under eye will decrease the amount of product built up under your eyes and prevent creasing. powder will set and blur while the powder puff will push product into your skin and give you a seamless application. powdering should be the last step. REMEMBER: you can use as much product as needed, but a little can go a long way. makeup is for having fun and practicing things. at the end of the day it can be wiped off! mistakes can be corrected easily.
