From thinking to myself, “I wish my parents were here,” to bringing them to Japan for their first time and flying them business class round trip (also their first time)!! This has been on my bucket list for so long, and I’m grateful to have made it happen this year. As a kid of immigrant parents, I carry a lot of guilt being able to travel so much for work. I always think about how I wish they could join every trip so they can also see the world They’ve sacrificed so much for us to have a better life than they did in Vietnam, so being able to do this for them is probably one of my biggest and most meaningful accomplishments. I kept the surprise all the way until we boarded and seeing their reactions made everything worth it. Afterwards my mom told my sister, “Every time I walk by these seats I think to myself, I’d like to sit here one day.” 😭 Their vision board is also mine and I hope to keep checking these experiences off for them 🤍 #japan #fx3 #businessclass
