It’s been awhile since we’ve done one of these! As with most renovations (or so I’ve heard) we had a *lot* of unexpected expenses, so we wanted to take some time to save before updating anything else. There’s still a lot to be done reno wise, as well as a lot of furnishing but we’ll be taking our time with it. We bought our @Sundays Furniture couch 6 years ago now, I think it was the first really nice piece of furniture we had that wasn’t a hand me down. We loved this couch and didn’t want to get rid of it so we made it work with the space - check my stories to see how we added the rest of it to furnish our sunroom! We love this space so much now, it feels really cozy. And we are sooo happy with the record player @Fluance Audio sent us! Go to www.fluance.com for more details on our: Record Player - RT85N Speakers - Ri71 Amp - PA10 What do you guys think? 🫶🏻

Hiiii! I said I was going to start a “Friday Faves” series, but last Friday ended up being insane and I want to be able to post whenever I have time to, so I give you “These are a few of my favourite things” … I truthfully sang that at first and then felt like an idiot, but saying it feels too long 😂 Might have to tweak, we’ll see. Comment “link” if you want me to DM you links to these, or it’s all linked on my ShopMy bio. They are my most worn sets / leggings. And big sale on the first sets today!! x
That was fun / stressful 😂 Who watched?? Congrats to our boys for playing hard & congrats to our neighbours for the win! ❤️
I love him so much I could throw up #cats
Allow me to de influence you for a moment … I like sharing links with you guys. I love letting you know what works for me, when I’ve found some good sales, or items I’ve ordered for my home that have made it feel cozy. I love the feeling I get when I have a fresh new fit. And I also love following shopping channels on here for fashion or decor inspo. Some of my friends have shopping channels that are so helpful, and I’m always taking inspiration from them. But when we went on our trip in January, I almost fell into the “I’ve already worn this outfit so many times” trap. “I’ve posted multiple pictures in this dress.” “These sandals are scuffed at the toe.” “Maybe I should be looking for some new things.” But I wasn’t in a place where I wanted to spend a bunch of money on clothes, and I LIKE what I already have. I’m not Paris Hilton haha. I wear the same clothes I like over and over and over again. That is way more normal than constantly having a new outfit. I just brought what I had. I’m writing this because I know what it feels like to doom scroll and see constant links / shiny new things that would be so nice to have. Because I have this platform, brands do sometimes send me product for free and, if I like it, offer me codes for you guys -which I love to share because if you happen to be in the market for it, it’s nice to not have to pay full price. I’ve been thinking about starting a new series on Fridays- “Friday Faves” or something. I’ll see if I can come up with a cooler name, but that might be all I’ve got (open to suggestions haha). I’ll share things I use religiously and love, or items we had to buy for the house that I’m really happy with. Some I might have codes for, some I might not. I want it to be fun. But I hope when you guys are on this page, you never feel pressure to buy 🫶🏻
Husband appreciate post 🥹 He immediately says “I’ll grab some steak for tonight.” Love him
Classic sister energy, am I riiiight My nervous system is still trying to regulate after the screeching I just broke up over paint colours getting mixed incorrectly, and they’ve already moved on to a joyful performance 😂

Seasoned chef over here 👋🏼 I skimmed the recipe Kelly sent me after I devoured this cheese log at a family function - saw the few ingredients and told my sister to come make it. “It’s so simple, should be quick!” I failed to read that it had to be refrigerated for 3 hours and then chill overnight hah. Woooops. And yes that was the second time we called Kelly, because we didn’t know how we were supposed to roll cream cheese into a log hahaha. I mean you have to start somewhere, never made a log before - now we know. YUMMY CREAM CHEESE LOG Ingredients: • 8 oz. cream cheese • 1 tsp. garlic salt Mix together, roll into a log, and chill for a few hours. • 1 cup chopped pecans (not real fine) • 1/3 cup brown sugar • 1/4 cup butter • 1 shot of Worcestershire sauce Directions: Melt butter, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce and bring up to the boiling point, then add pecans. Cool for about 15 minutes. Coat cheese log with mixture and let marinate overnight. The two flavours meld together to make it very YUMMY. ENJOY!
Just a champagne picnic on a sandbar in the ocean, is that too much to ask 😂 @NexusTours #dominicanrepublic #saonaisland #puntacana
What is the best book you’ve read lately?!? I need a new one! Some of my faves below 👇🏼 When I have a hot minute to actually read, I make use of that time hahah. The vacation we just got back from was the first time I’ve actually been able to get a good amount of reading done while the kids play - usually I’m playing Marco Polo or building sandcastles the whole time (still did some of that) but the girls are 5/6 (almost 7!!) now and there was definitely a shift this trip! I went for easy reads. I did not feel like learning haha. Just wanted to escape into some form of adventure / romance. Here’s what I’ve read lately: Every Summer After - Carley Fortune (read this entire book on the trip! I’ll be buying more from her) Been on an Emily Henry kick lately!! Funny Story (my fave so far) Beach Read (will be reading this next) The Housemaid - Freida McFadden (I read this book in about 5 hours hahah. Super quick read - has anyone seen the movie and what do you think?? The Housemaid’s Secret And I’ve never considered myself a fantasy girly, but I loved the ACOTAR series by Sarah J Maas. I tried to get into from Blood and Ash but I found it too predictable … didn’t love. Bought the second book but haven’t started. Do I need to give it another shot?? The Nightingale & Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah are 2 of my favourite historical fiction reads. The Four Agreements is my favourite read for when I feel I need a mental reset. It changed the way I think. Working through The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck Let me know if you’ve read any of these and what your thoughts are! x
Can I just read my book in the heat and be served drinks forever 🍸 How’s everybody doing? Do you have snow / ice where you are? We have a snow day today which I’m actually excited about, all the schools are closed. Extended weekend with the kids ;) (check in with me in 2 hours, I might be singing a different tune) . . #vacation #canada
@dreamscapcana in Dominican Republic 🌴 A few of you recognized the resort as “Margaritaville” - it used to be an adults only resort, but now families also get to experience this all inclusive, 5 star luxe resort! *only 15 mins from the airport - this was amazing for us, as our flight was delayed due to snow in Canada. We had an extra half day by the pool and weren’t stressed on timing because we were so close to the airport! *luxury rooms / suites with huge balconies and swim up pools available *multiple pools, including two swim up bars with swings! *constant flow of activities to keep you busy! Beach / pool volleyball, live music, water aerobics, dance lessons, cornhole, ping pong, pickleball & tennis courts, guac and sushi making classes, outdoor yoga - there is something for everyone! *so many exciting options for kids, including blow up slides / obstacle courses, splash pad, indoor outdoor kids club activities (painting, pool games, outdoor pj movie nights!!) *24 hour cafe was AMAZING. The caramel macchiato frapp was our go to 🤌🏼 *buffet with so many fresh delicious options, my kids loved at the pasta station (obviously) and amazing restaurants (the Steakhouse and Italian were our faves!) *pro tip, your package with @Sunwing Vacations - they handle everything so you don’t have to think! Round trip flights, accommodations, and transfers to and from the hotel. Your first checked bag is free, and you can bring a carry on and one personal item. What an absolute blast, I hope we can get back there one day! 🫶🏻 . . #dominican #sunwingpartner #sunwing #resort #travel
And I didn’t even wash my hair 😂 What would you do in this situation (other than waterboarding your husband) . . Vacation couples humour husband and wife motherhood
Dreams Cap Cana 🤍 @dreamscapcana A luxury, all-inclusive 5 star resort that’s truly family-friendly. With 4 beautiful pools (I’m still not over the swim up bars with swings), a kids splash pad and amazing kids club with tonnes of fun indoor and outdoor activities switched up daily, 9 restaurants + multiple bars, there was always something to do (or eat!!). Spacious rooms - the beds were VERY comfy. I slept like a baby. Amazing staff / service. They have an app that has all the information about the hotel, restaurants, the daily activities that will be happening which include ping pong tournaments, beach / pool volleyball, dancing lesson, aerobics - there are also pickleball and tennis courts! We heard the evening entertainment was incredible with a variety of shows at the theatre and live music, but we truthfully were in bed by 8/9pm every night haha. This is place where parents and kids actually get to relax OR fill their schedule with fun activities if you like to keep busy. We travelled with Sunwing, which made the whole experience so easy. Their packages include flights, accommodation, and in-destination transfers to and from your hotel, plus one checked bag, one carry-on, and a personal item — such a stress-free way to travel as a family. Would go back in a heartbeat 🫶🏻 Let me know if you have any questions!! . . . #dominicanrepublic #resort #SunwingPartner #Sunwing #dominicanhotels

I won’t pretend I have the patience or “finesse” for gift wrapping 😂. Which one are you? It would probably help if we didn’t save them all until the last minute hahah.
