Layne is in the NICU. He was born early. He has fluid in his lungs. He cannot breathe on his own yet. Layne is hooked up to oxygen and monitors instead of being in our arms at home. Doctors say he could be here until his original due date four more weeks. He won’t go home until he can breathe and eat completely on his own. they were not prepared for this. Garrette cannot take PTO. Income doesn’t stop. Bills don’t pause. Gas to the hospital adds up every day. Meals add up. Hotel stays may be necessary. trying to care for Arlo in the middle of all of this. We are exhausted. We are scared. And we need help. If you can give please do. If you can’t give please share.
