🚗We’re improving the road network in the Tuas South and Pioneer area to support future industrial developments and consolidation of port activities in Tuas over the next decade. 🚢 🛣 The enhancements include: 1️⃣Construction of Tuas Road Viaduct 2 (TRV2), an extension of the existing Tuas Viaduct, and 2️⃣Widening of these road stretches: -Tuas South Ave 3 -Tuas South Boulevard -Pioneer Road -Tuas South Avenue 5 Works started in 2025 and will be progressively completed by 2030. Motorists can look forward to greater connectivity and shorter journeys in the area!

🚇 #PSA With the successful operationalisation of East Coast Integrated Depot (ECID) in Dec 2025, we’ll carry out the last set of works to disconnect the East-West Line (#EWL) tracks from Changi Depot. To carry out these works, there will be no #EWL train service between Tanah Merah to Expo stations from 14 to 17 Mar 2026. Train services between Tuas Link to Pasir Ris stations will continue to operate normally. What are the alternatives available?: 🚆 Shuttle train: Expo ↔️ Changi Airport every 7 mins 🚌 Shuttle bus service S8: Tanah Merah ↔️ Expo every 5-8 mins 🚆🚌 Other MRT lines or regular bus services 💰 Fares for the shuttle bus services will follow the same fare structure as trains. ➡️ Do plan your journeys in advance and cater more travel time. The Rail Reliability Taskforce has completed a deep dive into our system. Here is how we are improving your daily commute to better handle the unexpected: 🛠 Optimise Assets – We are strengthening the core of the network through the renewal of systems and better management of spares. With a unified condition monitoring approach, and greater use of robotics and automation, we can spot and fix issues earlier and more effectively. 👷 Upskill People – A stronger network needs a future-ready workforce. We are building deeper technical capabilities and strengthening training through the Singapore Rail Academy, while recognising and supporting the rail transport workers who keep Singapore moving every day. ⏱️ Improve Recovery – When disruptions happen, we want to get you back on track fast. Look out for new tools and signs with clearer commuter management measures, alongside enhanced bridging bus services with standby buses to keep your journey going. 🙌 We have installed all the steel plates in the #CircleLine tunnel between Paya Lebar and Mountbatten stations. ✅ Finishing works are now ongoing, after which we’ll rigorously test all the replaced components to ensure the tunnel is safe for passenger service.
