🚨 USPS POSTMARK RULES HAVE CHANGED! 🚨 The USPS has changed how postmarks work, and it could impact mail-in ballots. ❌ Old: mail that has been RECEIVED by the post office. ✅ New: mail that has been PROCESSED by the post office. 📬 Postmark ≠ day you mail it anymore! As of Dec. 24th, 2025, postmarks now reflect when mail is processed, not when it’s dropped off. ⚠️ Why this matters: If you drop your mail-in ballot in a mailbox on Election Day, it may receive a postmark after Election Day and could be rejected! Best ways to protect your vote: • Apply for your Vote by Mail ballot ASAP • Mail your ballot 7-10 days early • Take your ballot to the post office and request a manual postmark • Use certified mail to track your ballot • Or hand-deliver your ballot to your local elections office with ID on Election Day 🗓 Feb. 20th, 2026 is the last day for Vote by Mail applications to be received 🗳 Primary Election Day in Texas is March 3rd, 2026 Please share to help others avoid having their vote rejected. Democracy works best when everyone has the information they need to participate!
