It’s science!! REMINDER: calorie deficits are temporary!!! You should not be in a deficit for more than 3-4 months. But there are multiple ways to be in a deficit. Find what works for you, but also know that there is a lot of guess work if you are not actually tracking. For example, if you’re increasing your cardio, you will be burning more calories and therefore be more hungry. You may in turn end up eating more, canceling out any extra calories burned. This would take you out of a deficit. By temporarily tracking your food, you can take the guesswork out of it. It’s so nice finally understanding my body and what it needs.
