The Team Members of SKMCH, Peshawar shared insights on 10 years journey of healthcare services rendered by Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, Peshawar to help the cancer patients in treatment expenditures & the philanthropic activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Amount worth Rs 55,000/- was donated to SKMCH, Peshawar by Team Members & Student Volunteers of Youth Development Center, University of Malakand to help the cancer patients. یونیورسٹی آف ملاکنڈ میں ای آفس سسٹم کی تربیت کی اختتامی تقریب ، ڈیجیٹل گورننس کی جانب ایک اہم پیش رفت؛ یونیورسٹی آف ملاکنڈ کے ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف آئی ٹی کے زیرِ اہتمام انتظامی و سیکشنل سربراہان کے لیے ای آفس سسٹم سے متعلق تربیت کی اختتامی تقریب ویڈیو کانفرنس روم میں منعقد ہوئی۔ یہ تربیت جامعہ مالاکنڈ میں جدید، مؤثر اور کاغذ سے پاک (Paperless) مواصلاتی نظام کے نفاذ کی جانب ایک اہم سنگِ میل ثابت ہوئی۔ تربیتی سیشن نیشنل انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی بورڈ (NITB) کی آپریشنل مینیجر مس قرۃ العین نے بطور ریسورس پرسن شرکت کی۔ جنہوں نے شرکاء کو ای آفس سسٹم کے عملی استعمال سے متعلق تفصیلی اور عملی رہنمائی فراہم کی۔ اس موقع پر بتایا گیا کہ یہ اقدام یونیورسٹی آف ملاکنڈ کے ڈیجیٹل ٹرانسفارمیشن اور ای گورننس کے سفر میں ایک اہم پیش رفت ہے۔ ای آفس سسٹم کا کامیاب آغاز معزز وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر رشید احمد کی دوراندیش قیادت اور بھرپور سرپرستی کا نتیجہ ہے، جنہوں نے اس موقع پر ڈاکٹر ناصر رشید (ڈائریکٹر آئی ٹی)، مسٹر ثاقب خان (ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر آئی ٹی) اور پوری آئی ٹی ٹیم کی انتھک محنت اور لگن کو سراہا۔یونیورسٹی آف ملاکنڈ کے معزز وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر رشید احمد نے تربیتی پروگرام کے شرکاء میں سرٹیفکیٹس اور شیلڈز تقسیم کیں۔ The University of Malakand successfully conducted a four-day training program on E-Office implementation, marking a key milestone in its digital transformation and move towards paperless governance. The training covered all HoDs and Sectional Heads to ensure effective adoption across the university. Ms. Qurat ul Ain, Operational Manager from the National IT Board (NITB), served as the master trainer and provided hands-on guidance. Prof. Dr. Rashid Ahmad, Vice Chancellor, UoM & Prof Dr Mir Azam Khan, Pro-Vice Chancellor, UoM Congratulated the UoM family on this achievement, appreciated the efforts of Dr. Nasir Rashid, Director IT, and Mr. Saqib Khan, Deputy Director IT, along with the IT team, and thanked NITB for its continued support. یونیورسٹی آف ملاکنڈ کے قیام کے چوبیس سال کی تکمیل پر پچیسویں سالگرہ (سلور جوبلی) کے سلسلے میں رنگارنگ تقریبات کا آغاز ہوا، یہ تقریبات ایک ہفتے تک جاری رہیں گے۔ وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر رشید احمد نے سینئر فیکلٹی اور یونیورسٹی انتظامیہ کے افسران سمیت ایک بڑا کیک کاٹ کر سلور جوبلی تقریبات کا باضابطہ افتتاح کیا۔ اس موقع پر "گل داؤدی" جسے خزاں کا بادشاہ کہا جاتا ہے، کی نمائش کا بھی انعقاد ہوا۔ نمائش میں گل داؤدی ک چالیس اقسام رکھے گئے یونیورسٹی کے طلباء وطالبات اور دیگر وزیٹرز نے بڑی تعداد میں نمائش کا دورہ کرکے انجوائے کیا۔ یونیورسٹی کے پی آر او معراج الحمید ناصری کے بقول کل 130 مختلف سٹال لگائے گئے ہیں جس میں ثقافت، تاریخ، ارٹ، فیشن، جغرافیہ اور فوڈز کے سٹالوں پر وزیٹرز کا تانتا بندھا رہا۔ گل داؤدی نمائش کے افتتاح کے بعد میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر رشید احمد نے بتایا کہ یونیورسٹی ہر سال ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف سٹوڈنٹس سوسائٹی کے تعاون سے اسی مہینے گل داؤدی کی نمائش منعقد کرتی آئی ہے۔ انھوں نے کہا کہ خزان کے اس موسم میں جب دیگر انواع کے پھول ناپید ہو جاتے ہیں تو ایسے میں گل داؤدی کی بہتات کسی نعمت سے کم نہیں۔ دوسرے سٹالز کے افتتاح کے موقع پر وائس چانسلر کا کہنا تھا کہ چوبیس سال پہلے یہاں ایک مسجد کی لان میں جس ادارے کا آغاز ہوا آج اس میں 35 ڈیپارٹمنٹ قائم ہیں جہاں سٹوڈنٹس کی تعداد ہزاروں میں ہے ان کا کہنا تھا کہ رینکنگ کے حوالے سے بھی یونیورسٹی آف ملاکنڈ اب ایک پہچان رکھتی ہے جس کا کریڈٹ اس کے فیکلٹی اور مقامی ابادی کو جاتا ہے۔ انھوں نے کہا کہ یونیورسٹی سال 2026 کو بطورِ سلور جوبلی منائے گا اور جشن کا یہ سلسلہ سارا سال جاری رہے گا۔ گل داؤدی کی نمائش کا دورہ کرنے والے طلباء وطالبات نے اسے ایک مثبت سرگرمی قرار دیتے ہوئے خوشی کا اظہار کیا اور بتایا کہ ایسی سرگرمیوں کا ان کی پڑھائی پر بھی اچھا اثر پڑے گا۔ Glimpses of 25th Foundation Day Celebrations at University of Malakand.
