i’m a bit perplexed because these moreish and v satisfying wheels of cheese *do* have something a bit odd about them but ultimately i find myself wanting more !! and always loving their snack-convenience-ness!! 🧀🟢 4 of us vegans did a lil taste test in the car on the way to a walking weekend in Wales and we discovered A LOT, indeed… the old vegan recipe was coconut based whereas the new recipe is largely fava bean based!! which do u prefer ?? never had a bean-based cheese myself before I don’t think tbh but deffo do prefer the new recipe version after this very scientific experiment 🧪👩🏼‍🔬 and for what it’s worth: coconut cheeses always taste a little odd (and particularly alien to omnivores) imo - if ur trying a plantiful diet for the first time then go for nut-based cheeses if u can!! or bean based apparently lol!!!! anyway whatever the recipe, vegan babybels are fortified and therefore a source of both calcium and b12 so they’re a great vegan snack - je love them on a hike espesh personally!!!!! #veganbabybel
