Did you know donkeys actually LOVE carrots—but they should be a treat, not a meal 🥕🫏 Carrots are: • High in natural sugars • Great for training & bonding • Best fed in small amounts Donkeys have very efficient digestive systems, so too many sugary treats can lead to weight gain or metabolic issues. We stick to a few carrot pieces at a time and let them crunch slow (and dramatically 😅). Fun fact: the chewing helps wear down their teeth naturally, which is super important for donkey health.
