The final episode of the Mawlid series is here! The blessed month of Rabbi al-Awal for the 1500th year since the Blessed Birth of the Beloved ﷺ officially ends today. ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰه it has been a very beautiful month and I am glad to say I have stuck to my word and released an episode everyday since the first day. I end my series with the words of Sultān ul-Awliya, Ghawth al A’dham, Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْه. Wahabis love to claim him to be from them but have obviously never read his blessed books so I bring forth what he states regarding the mawlid. جزاك اللهُ خير for all of the support over the month and May Allah allow my intentions to be pure and for them to benefit all who read it. Episode 28 is here, very late I know. This time, I have been going through the book of the great hanbali scholar Ibn Rajab known as ‘Laṭā’if al-Maʿārif’. In it, he deviates a whole section to just the Blessed birth of the Prophet ﷺ in Rabbi al-awal. In this episode, I bring forth what the Mufti of Makkah, Imam Ahmad Zayni Dahlān رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْه said in his book As-Sīrah an-Nabawiyyah wa al-Āthār al-Muḥammadiyyah regarding the Mawlid. Episode 25 is here. This time with the great scholar of the Shafi’i school of thought, Ibn Hajar al-Haytami رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْه. In his Al-Na‘imah al-Kubra, he mentioned various sayings regarding the mawlid, going back to the time of the sahaba. Although wahabis will deny it because they’ll say there’s no evidence he brought, he is a mujtahid so to say what he’s saying is wrong is to say he’s lying. #mawlid #milad #ahlusunnahwaljamaah #milaad #salaf

Episode 24 is here. This time with the final points regarding the permissibility of the Mawlid by the great Shayh Sayyid Muhammad bin Alawi al Maliki who wrote a whole book on the mawlid. In this one, he once again brings some excellent points, refuting arguments which wahabis make about the mawlid. In his book, ‘Ḥawla al-iḥtifāl bi-dhikrā al-mawlid al-nabawī al-sharīf’, Shaykh Sayyid Muhammad Ibn Alawi al Maliki رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْه gives reasons as to why the mawlid can be celebrated and very strong arguments too.
