This review reflects my personal experience and individual taste preferences. It’s also based on that day’s cooking, since flavours can vary daily. I’d love to hear your thoughts too feel free to share your experience in the comments! 🍗 Hyderabad Chicken Biryani The biryani was really good the flavour is strong and bold, and it hits you from the first bite. I genuinely liked this a lot compared to other biryani places I’ve tried in JB. If I’m craving biryani for real, this is the one I’d choose. 🦐 Prawn Ghee Roast The prawns were cleaned really well and tasted fresh no “fishy” vibes at all. The gravy is thick, rich, and quite spicy. Honestly, it would be perfect with rice because the gravy deserves something to soak it up. 🔥 Banjaran Chicken Kebab Flavour wise it leans quite close to tandoori, but texture is the win served super hot and the chicken was very soft and tender. It’s spicy, and even though I’m not a big tandoori lover, this one was still nice to eat. 🍖 Mutton Thiruvila Sappadu Overall this set was nice, and the mutton curry itself is solid—mutton was very soft and the curry tasted good. But personally, the only downside for me was the pairing: mutton curry + basmati rice didn’t click for my taste. Basmati is perfect for biryani, but for this curry I feel like normal rice would make it even better. If I’m rating the mutton curry alone, I’d rate it higher my score dropped a bit only because the rice combo wasn’t my favourite. 🥟 Samosa Chaat The samosa was soft and the potato filling was good, but overall it didn’t hit “great level” for me. The main reason is the thayir/curd combo I’m not a curd lover, and the curd flavour had that slight bitter-ish kick for my palate, so it didn’t suit me. 🍩 Thayir Vada First time trying this, and surprisingly I liked it a lot more than the chaat. The vada soaked well and the curd didn’t overpower the vada’s taste. Because the balance was nicer, I gave this a higher rating and if you’re a curd lover, you’ll probably enjoy it even more. 🧀 Mozzarella Cheese Naan This one was good, but the best part is when you pair it with the mutton curry that combo was really nice and made the naan feel more worth it. 🥭 Mango Saagu Float This is the star of the night. The best dessert I’ve had in a long time. I would literally come back just for this. Mango + sago with a bit of ice cream and that gulab jamun vibe sweet but not jelak, super addictive. If you ask me choose one, it’s Mango Sago Float ✅ 🐑 Mutton Varuval (Dry Dish) I know mutton varuval is supposed to be a dry style dish, but for me this one tasted too “dry” in flavour like it didn’t have much taste going on. The mutton was well cooked and soft, so texture wise it’s okay, and it’s still eatable, but I wouldn’t rate it high because the flavour didn’t deliver for me. It also felt a bit salty, and I think I personally would’ve enjoyed a gravy-style mutton more. I’ve had other dry mutton dishes that still had strong flavour, but this one didn’t hit for my preference. My go-to combo here: 🍗 Hyderabad Chicken Biryani + 🥭 Mango Sago Float ✅ Savoury, bold biryani to satisfy the craving… then the mango sago float to end the meal perfectly.#sriefoodreview @Giantkitchen tampoi
