I heard Intro videos are in now so here’s my stab at it. We’re the BGVs! We’re an Atlanta-based alternative band and we make all kinds of music that explores relationships and sense of self. Right now we’re in more of a experminetal/alt/indie rock era (think hiatus Kaiyote, Lianne La Havas), but our previous stuff is a bit more alt R&B leaning (think James Blake). We're an Atlanta based band called The BGVs, and we just released the first single off our debut full EP. We're inspired by a lot of different sounds and tuck them into a sonic pocket that feels familiar, but still ours. Making art and sharing it is hard, it's vulnerable, but we love what we do and truly believe this music matters. We hope it resonates and makes you feel something. We want to connect with you and show you that Black music is more than R&B, and that there's room for conversations about the many forms of Blackness and Black music.
