typically with my videos you gotta read the captions haha. when you are in a tornado watch you should always make sure you have a way to receive word or updates on the current storms heading your way. tornado watches can be issued hours before storms even start to form so it gives the general public a little time to prepare as well as possible. you should have a flashlight, take shelter in a basement if you don’t have a basement find a part of your house or building that doesn’t share a wall that touches outside. when in a safe spot try to get blankets, pillows, mattresses, what ever you can to cover your head from falling debris. most people actually get warnings and watches mixed up so here’s is the difference between the two. Tornado Watch: Your surrounding area has conditions that can support tornado formation. Tornado Warning: A radar has indicated a current storm is capable of (or) is producing a tornado. Warnings can be also obviously be issued if there is a reliable source reporting the tornado like chasers/news/law enforcement. #fyp #tornado #nss #weather #information
