I took my mum to see the Tina Turner musical for her birthday and I was not prepared for the emotional roller coaster! When Tina finally fought back against Ike, my mum sobbed, and I started crying too because I knew exactly what was going through her mind. By the end of the show she was on her feet, clapping and dancing, and I truly have never seen her even close to this happy in my entire life. Seeing that pure, childlike joy in her got me all choked up. On the walk back to the car she said it was the best birthday she's ever had. I love my mum so much it's embarrassing. Happy birthday mama, you're simply the best.
